I watched a video of some wildlife people having to go and find rhinos and remove the tops of their horns, they don’t remove the whole horn like hunters do. What the wildlife people do doesn’t hurt the rhino, it’s just like trimming your fingernails. Hunters usually remove the whole horn, like if you ripped out the nail instead of trimming it. Usually wildlife people will trim the horns because it discourages hunters from targeting the rhinos
